April 17 Chapter 4 Push the Ragtags into Annihilation (Part 1)Ragtags are the sins. They are born with a gift named silliness. Due to the initial existence in this land, humans are destined to be suffering from the disaster caused by them. Some of them turned into the criminals with time going on, the rest of them accomplish the end of lifetime at the beginning. However, they are the basement of our world building, no matter how many of them have been executed; in which means they were executed, Ragtags and rabblers are the major content consisted in our world.
Due to the limitation of the law, human is banned to execute the ragtags as their wish freely. What if the law is not perfect? What if the world is not perfect? The humans are looking forward to be authorized to go further. No rabbler is qualified to disorder and disturb the life of high class human. The ambition of modern law is to keep the world normal, to show the penalty which scared the low life and ragtags to stop acting abnormally. But the law is not perfect; it is not capable to remove the savage nature from the low life and rabblers. The world is kept wild from time to time cause of the chaos by ragtags.
The human intend to execute them…
"If we execute murderers and there is in fact no deterrent effect, we have killed a bunch of murderers. If we fail to execute murderers, and doing so would in fact have deterred other murders, we have allowed the killing of a bunch of innocent victims. I would much rather risk the former. This, to me, is not a tough call." John McAdams - Marquette University/Department of Political Science, on deterrence |
